The National One Health Steering Committee (NOHSC) in collaboration with Ohio State University Global One Health Initiative (OSU-GOHI) and WHO-Ethiopia Office organized One Health Advocacy Workshop from February 23-24, 2023 in Adama, Ethiopia. The workshop aimed at exploring the journey of One Health activities in Ethiopia, share experience among OH implementing partners, identify critical gaps, learn promising practices from regional states and facilitate networking among OH actors.
HEAL program, represented by VSF-Suisse and ILRI actively engaged as panellist and shared experience on the following topics:
- The practice of OH at community level
- Multi-sectoral collaboration in the provision of OH services
- Challenges of OH implementation at community level
- The role of academic institutions in the implementation of OH.
